NEWTOWN MASONIC SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
Each year our lodge awards four scholarships worth $2,000 each to students in the Bucks County area. We seek to offer a one-time financial stipend to graduating high school students who are furthering their education. It can be used toward a 4-year college institution or trade school.

Help For Our Heroes
Pennsylvania Masons support our military, both home and abroad, as well as their families, with various needs. In addition to military baby showers that provide new families with essentials for their child’s first year of life, we have provided support for families at military bases, including telemedicine, special events and outings; adaptive bicycles for veterans with injuries; improvements to veterans’ homes; support of veterans courts and renovations needed by families of our military men and women serving overseas.
YOUTH ORGANIZATIONS
​​​​​​​The three largest and best known Masonic Youth Organizations are The Order of DeMolay, The International Order of Rainbow for Girls and The International Order of Job’s Daughters.

The Order of DeMolay was founded in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1919 for young men of ages 12 to 21. The Order is named after Jacques DeMolay, the last Grand Master of the Templars, who was martyred in the middle Ages for refusing to compromise his honor. The Order of DeMolay teaches the virtues of reverence, love of parents, comradeship, patriotism, courtesy, cleanness, and fidelity. The Order provides many social events and activities, which help to teach social skills and leadership. It has local groups known as Chapters throughout the United States and has also spread internationally. Membership is open to all young men irrespective of whether they have family Masonic ties or not. Their meeting place is usually in a room at a local Masonic Lodge where Masons act as Advisors (Dads) and provide Adult Leadership to the Chapter.
The International Order of Rainbow for Girls was founded in McAlester, Oklahoma, in 1922 for young women aged 11 to 20. Relationship or family ties to a member of the Masonic Order is NOT required for membership. The local groups known as Assemblies are generally sponsored by either a Masonic Lodge or a Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Women called Mother Advisors provide adult supervision and guidance. Each of the colors of the rainbow is associated with a particular virtue or source of inspiration. The Order of Rainbow supports education and is profoundly involved with local charity. The Order also teaches character development, planning, leadership, and social skills through training programs and social events.
